Kaztec Engineering Ltd. Showcases Nigerian Capacity at 2013 Shell Nigerian Content Exhibition

Event Focused on In-Country Manufacturing, Fabrication, Construction, Raw Materials Extraction, Assembly, Maintenance, Safety and Environment

LAGOS, October 31, 2013 - Kaztec Engineering Ltd. (www.kaztec-eng.com), a 100 percent indigenous leader in the fabrication of drilling and production platforms and other specialized structures for the oil and gas industry, was among the companies participating in the 2013 Shell Nigerian Content Exhibition this week. The 2-day event took place at the Methodist Hall, 11, Broad St., Marina in Lagos from October 30th through the 31st. It attracted various companies directly and indirectly involved with the oil and gas industry.

The 2013 Shell Nigerian Content Exhibition focuses on in-country manufacturing of materials, spare parts, and components, fabrication and construction, raw materials extraction, assembly and maintenance, as well as safety and environment, and information and communications technology.

The welcome address at the exhibition was given by the MD SNEPCo, Mr Chike Onyejekwe, with remarks by Engr. Chinaka Mac Nwogu, the Group General Manager of NAPIMS and Hon. Asita, the Chairman House of Reps Committee on Local Content. Some of the highlights of Day 1 at the exhibition were the panel discussions on subsea engineering & DW projects, the open forum with Nigerian Content Development and Management Board (NCDMB), The National Petroleum Investment Management Services (NAPIMS) & Nigerian Petroleum Export (NIPEX).

Day two featured focused interactive group sessions with panel discussions on Production Operations and Brownfield Maintenance, Marine Activities (Deep Offshore) and Geosolutions and Well Engineering.

In all, the 2013 Shell Nigerian Content Exhibition was a resounding success. Kaztec Engineering Ltd. had an excellent outing, showcasing its formidable service portfolio, and forging new relationships for future accomplishments.
