Kaztec Engineering Limited Showcases Services at OWA 2013

ACCRA, GHANA, March 21, 2013 - Kaztec Engineering Ltd. (www.kaztec-eng.com), a 100 percent indigenous leader in the fabrication of drilling and production platforms and other specialized structures for the oil and gas industry, was one the companies at the 17th Offshore West Africa (OWA) conference and exhibition to showcase its services and activities. Kaztec is a subsidiary of the Chrome Group (www.thechromegroup.net), a leading West African oil and gas conglomerate.  Addax is a subsidiary of the Sinopec Group, one of the largest oil and gas producers in China, the biggest oil refiner in Asia and the third largest worldwide.

The conference and exhibition at the International Conference Centre, Accra, Ghana, served as a forum for senior executives and industry leaders to meet and discuss a range of topics, network and see the latest technologies and solutions relating to offshore exploration and production industries. 

Under the Patronage of the Ministry of Energy, Republic of Ghana, and endorsed by the Petroleum Commission Ghana and The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), the 17th annual Offshore West Africa addressed key technology and development issues for the West African offshore oil and gas market, through a comprehensive educational program and three‐day exhibition, under the theme, ''Deepwater Discoveries, Emerging Opportunities". 

Some of the topics discussed during the technical sessions include;

  • Well Construction & Drilling Operations, 
  • Field Development
  • Flowlines & Pipelines  
  • Subsea Technology 
  • Safety & Environmental Concerns
  • Local Content.

Other exhibitors include companies like Shell, Tullow Oil, ABS, Aker Solutions, Baker Hughes, DNV, NOV, Endress+Hauser, InterMoor, Lloyds Register, Modec, Petroleum Commission, PETAN, Mustang Wood Group, Schlumberger and Oil Spill Response to name but a few. 

This year's conference from March 19th to 21st, 2013, provided Kaztec a unique networking opportunity to share technology and address issues with experts in their respective fields.
