Alhaji Idris is a seasoned and highly-reputed civil servant. He has an impeccable record at the highest level of leadership in the Nigerian civil service. A long-time Secretary to the Federal Government of Nigeria and Head of the Federal Civil Service, Mr. Idris also served as the Clerk of the National Assembly between 1979 and 1983.
